*Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and actress, Brandy, released a behind the scenes video from her in the studio recording her newly released single, “Beggin’ & Pleadin’.”

With her latest song, Brandy is back with a fresh and exciting sound which she pegged ‘trap-blues,’ with an official video of “Beggin’ & Pleadin'” to come later in 2016.

Regarding ‘Beggin & Pleadin’ in her in studio video Brandy said:

“This particular song is um freedom, freedom; liberty to express myself in the most interesting edgiest way possible. And um, I just like the way it makes me feel when I hear it and I like the way it sounds when I hear it back. It feels like I’m listening to somebody else and not me. And that’s what makes it – I think – It’s like Bitch what!? It’s like that. It makes me feel bossy. It makes me feel like; I’m just like – I don’t even know. Even if it’s like for 2 minutes and 45 seconds ~I just feel empowered by it.

“ I feel empowered by the story, I feel empowered by the vocal, I feel empowered by you know the production. Everything just sounds like; it sounds fearless to me. That 2 minutes and 45 seconds is internal for me. That’s how dope it feel to me. I’m looking forward to actually performing it live and connecting and seeing what happens to my body when I’m performing it. What happens to my spirit when I’m performing it live. That’s going to be fun and interesting to see.”
