*Weight Watchers stock jumped a whopping 16% suddenly on Tuesday – all because Oprah Winfrey sent a tweet.
The new spokesperson for the weight loss brand tweeted a video in which she raves about losing 26 pounds despite eating bread every day. Within an hour of the tweet, the company’s stock had risen 16%, according to MarketWatch.
Oprah enjoyed another type of bread after the tweet…$12.5 million directly into her pocket, thanks to her 6.4 million shares of Weight Watchers stock.
