*(Hollywood, CA) —Award-winning composer Christopher Lennertz reteams with Director Tim Story to score ‘Ride Along 2,’ enlisting the talents of leading musicians Arturo Sandoval (trumpet) and Sheila E (drums).
In theaters nationwide Friday, January 15, 2016, Universal Pictures’ buddy-cop action comedy reunites stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart as soon-to-be brothers-in-law on assignment in Miami to bring down a drug dealer supplying drugs to Atlanta.
Lennertz previously worked with Story on ‘Ride Along,’ ‘Think Like A Man,’ and ‘Think Like A Man Too.’
In addition to ‘Ride Along 2,’Â Lennertz returns to ‘Galavant,’Â collaborating with Oscar-winning composer/songwriter Alan Menken.
For the new season of Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter,’ in addition to the score, Lennertz has contributed an original song – to be sung by a main character on the show – with lyrics by two-time Oscar-nominee David Zippel.
Lennertz also returns to score CW’s landmark series ‘Supernatural’ this season. The ‘Ride Along 2’ score album will be available on Back Lot January 15, 2016
