*Performing at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on December 27, Johnny Britt put his “Marvin Meets Miles” show from his forthcoming album into high gear.
Pat Prescott on air personality for 94.7 The Wave radio introduced the singer/trumpet player/songwriter as a music industry innovator from his creation of Impromp2 to his work with The Temptations.
Backed by an amazing band which included legendary singers Jim Gilstrap, Kevin Dorsey and Phillip Ingram. Britt dazzled the packed house with his arrangements of “Come Get To This,” “Got To Give It Up,” “I Want You” and much more.

Britt also performed his hit radio single “You Sure Love To Ball.”
The surprise of the night was when Britt introduced his 17 year old son Joshua to accompany him on piano for the encore song “How Sweet It Is.”
Because the crowd still wanted more, the band came back onstage to perform”Jamaica Funk” and “It Is What It Is” that ending the evening with a standing ovation as the band of 10 including Joshua took their final bows.
