*Over the years we’ve witnessed many new actors and actresses land big roles, do great things, and then disappear.

However, O’Shea Jackson Jr. plans to not only inspire people through acting, but inspire many through random acts of kindness.

You may know Jackson from his break out role in “Straight Outta Compton” playing one of N.W.A’s members, Ice Cube, his father.

“Hopefully we can just promote change, promote growth, and positivity through our work because everything within ‘Straight Outta Compton’ was through non-violent protests,” the actor tells CelebsWork in a video interview,

At the age of 17, Jackson wanted to pursue a career in the music. When plans differed, he went along with the changes and had no problem putting his all into it.

Jackson, 24, takes time out of his day to encourage his followers via social media with uplifting quotes. His intent for the gesture is to inspire those who feel like no one is listening and to help people who feel they should giving up on life to keep going on.

“Hopefully we can just promote change, promote growth, and positivity through our work.”
