He had a hella rookie season as signal caller with the Washington Redskins, but now the love-affar is done.
It looked like Robert Griffin III was going to be the Redskins quarterback for years. However, injuries and an inability to progress derailed that narrative, and the heralded Baylor University star cleaned out his locker Monday morning — most likely for the last time.
Griffin has not officially been released from the team, but all signs point to the Redskins moving on from the former first-round draft pick.
If it is truly his final time at Redskins Park, he made sure to leave the team with one final message:
