Sherri Shepherd Wants PA Supreme Court Involved in Surrogate Child Case

sherri-shepherd*Taking things all the way to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Sherri Shepherd is determined to not be responsible for supporting the child she and estranged husband Lamar Sally had last year via a surrogate.

TMZ cites legal documents it obtained in reporting that Shepherd is requesting that the court allow her to stop paying up to $4,600 a month to Sally until their son turns 18.

According to Shepherd, although she is not biologically related to the child, the first judge in the case overstepped his bounds in using a surrogacy contract to make her the mother of the young boy.

Chatting with TMZ, Sally stated that its ridiculous that Shepherd spent nearly $100k to bring their son into the world, yet wants nothing to do with him.

Regarding the baby’s future Sally voiced that it is unfortunate that one day, the child will be able to read about the extent Shepherd went to in order to be out of his life.

At this time, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has yet to make a decision on whether or not to hear Shepherd’s appeal.
