*Boxer and father-of-ten Yusaf Mack is back in the headlines and this time for his budding relationship with transgender actress/singer Sydney Starr. Photos of the couple at a party in Chicago surfaced over the weekend, with Mack sticking his tongue down Starr’s throat in on pic, and the moment has folks talking!
“They are both definitely intrigued,” a source close to Mack told HipHollywood exclusively, adding that Mack and Starr are “getting to know” each other.
Last November, Mack revealed the truth about his sexual orientation after being in denial for so long. A week after his announcement, Yusaf had a “coming out party” at Rage nightclub in West Hollywood. As TMZ notes, the club is a longtime landmark on the L.A. gay scene.
Mack decided it was time to confess his preference for peen after a gay porn surfaced with him as co-star. At the time, he admitted that he wanted to participate in a porno because he needed the money, but he also claimed he’d been drugged and forced to participate in a gay porn.
Mack told Philly.com that he was contacted with an offer to do porn on Facebook, so he traveled from Philadelphia to New York one night to make the video, believing it would be heterosexual.
“I think, “It’s about to go down”,’ he said. “I needed a drink or something. They gave me a pill and a shot of vodka. I took the pill down with the vodka.”
Mack claims he has no memory from that point. The next thing he remembers is someone waking him up on a train in the city. He then found $4,500 cash in his pocket.
Yusef, whose children range in age from three to 21, said, “All my real friends who really know me, know I like females,” he said before coming out of the closet. Surprisingly, he has gone from being a “straight man” on the downlow – to a gay porn star who is now living it up as an openly gay man who is smitten by a transgender female.
