*Cuba Gooding Jr. looked like he was feeling no pain as he left NY hotspot Up & Down last night – perhaps celebrating his debut as the star of FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson.”

In video shot by TMZ, the actor runs from the exit to the curb and declares to the paparazzi that he is available for questions. He then begins hugging nearby NYPD officers (one of whom he points out is very short), before asking them all not to shoot anyone.

He goes on to pose for selfies with fans, then suddenly asks the paps if they can keep up with him before he takes off down the street – nearly knocking over a woman talking to her boyfriend on the phone.

“I’m famous now, babe!” the woman yelled to paps.
