*Mr. Sidney Poitier, who is Hollywood royalty as well as the first black actor to win a best actor Academy Award, celebrated his 89th birthday Saturday night at Craig’s Restaurant on Melrose Blvd. in West Hollywood.
But’s also cool about it is that a gang of stars showed up to show him love.

And of course upon exiting the event, Mr. Poitier was hit up by the TMZ camera guy with a bunch of Oscar questions which he clearly didn’t want to be bothered with. His response is classic and funny.
