*Tyrese and his “It’s Not You, It’s Men,” cohost Rev Run made an appearance on “The Doctors,” where the hot topic was sex before marriage.
While Rev Run advocates waiting until marriage, Tyrese confessed that he can’t marry a woman he hasn’t had sex with.
“It’s enough people getting married and filing for divorce,” Gibson explained. “There’s enough people out here saying, ‘I’m a born again virgin. I’ve had sex before, but I’m just going to hold back.'”
He continued:
“I don’t know, I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m not going to have sex, I’m not going to touch you because it’s biblical.”
Tyrese says he has to test drive the car before he parks it permanently in the garage.
“If I have one car to test drive, you gotta jump in and do a couple turns. Put in reverse, back up. I’m not marring bad sex!”
Gibson split from his wife of two years, Norma, in 2009. They have one child together – an 8-year-old daughter named Shayla. He hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone since, but he revealed to ABC News earlier this year that he’s looking for a new wife. Any ladies interested in settling down with Gibson best be willing to give it up before he commits to you.
“I’m nothing until I find my wife,” Gibson told ABC News. “Nobody wants to be alone,” he added.
Tyrese also detailed what he’s looking for in a potential partner.
“I love the femininity, the softness, the energy [of a woman]. I love a woman that’s still in tune with her femininity because so many women [feel] they need to ‘survive’ in a man’s world so they find themselves being more masculine in order to demand and command respect.”
