*It hasn’t even been three months since The CW cancelled “America’s Next Top Model,” and already it’s being brought back on another network.
VH1 announced Tuesday that the modeling competition series has been picked up for a 14-episode season, after running for 22 seasons on The CW and UPN.
Executive producers Ken Mok and Tyra Banks will return, but Banks will no longer serve as the host.
“I will continue as executive producer but must turn my attention to new business endeavors, so I want to find a new host,” Banks said in a statement. “I’m pumped to identify that person and bring back the show. Top Model fans, you demanded that the show come back, and VH1 answered the call. Get ready for a fierce-a-fied rebirth!”
