*An Atlanta man went into a bedroom in his girlfriends house, saw her gay son lying in bed with his boyfriend, and threw boiling hot water on them both.
Now the authorities are said to be considering filing hate crime charges against 48-year-old Martin Blackwell, who is being held in Fulton County jail without bond.
According to what Blackwell told police about the incident, which happened in February, he was so “disgusted” by the men’s relationship that he threw “just a little hot water” on them.
I am still wondering why the police are only CONSIDERING pressing hate crime charges. This is a hate crime if ever I saw one.
