Like the original film, ABC’s remake centers on Baby (Abigail Breslin), a young woman in the early 1960s who vacations with her affluent parents and siblings in the Catskills and falls for Johnny (Cole Prattes), the resort’s dance instructor and leader of the blue-collar entertainment staff.

As the resort’s longtime bandleader, Williams’ Tito oversees and advises its musicians and entertainers, and must acquiesce to the changing times. Sarah Hyland, Nicole Scherzinger and Debra Messing also star.
