*K. Michelle is the latest celebrity to announce her endorsement for Hillary Clinton in the presidential race, but she probably wasn’t expecting the backlash from doing so.
K. hit up Instagram to reflect on her professional accomplishments, during which, she praised Clinton and advised fans that Hillary is a “woman you should know.”
She started off her Instagram post with a look back on her early life: “My life has taken me places I would’ve never thought. I graduated from Florida A&M University with honors, and later was accepted into numerous law schools. Then one wrong turn and my life changed. From ratchet reality TV, Twitter fights, to currently making history as the 1st African-American to ever receive an endorsement and their own beverage brand through Jack Daniels. So many wrong turns, but a constant fight to get back on the right track. It’s takin some time.”
