*Rapper and reality TV star Flava Flav appeared on Salt Lake City, Utah’s Fox 13 Saturday to serve as surprise meteorologist. “The weather’s gonna be kind of good today, you know what I’m saying,” Flav told viewers.
“I’m here to bring you the weather. Not only for the good, but for the better,” Flav said. “Now check this out, you this over here? Salt Lake City, you got 56 degrees, you know what I’m saying?” Flav’s meteorologist debut wasn’t perfect – he misread Elko, Nevada as “Echo” on numerous occasions – and as he admitted at the end of the segment, “I’m not really a weather person, I’m a rapper.”
Flav was in the city to visit his brother, an athletic director at an area high school. The Public Enemy hypeman also joined the Fox 13 team for a segment where he tried to help find a home for a dog named Patch. “You know what? He would do real good in that commercial, ‘It’s bacon!,’ Flav said.

Meanwhile, a newly-released teaser trailer for Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween,” has been released, and the concept was inspired by Chris Rock’s 2014 movie “Top Five,” in which the actor/comedian sees people queuing at the cinema for a fictional Tyler Perry Madea movie called Boo… which Perry has now made into a real life feature film.
The official synopsis promises supernatural mayhem:
Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.
Madea first appeared in 2002’s “Madea’s Family Reunion,” and 14 years later, she’s still making crazy bank off the black audience.
“Boo! A Madea Halloween” is slated for release October 2. Check out the new trailer below.
