*With respective films set to air in the coming months on PBS, “Finding Your Roots” host Dr. Henry Louis Gates and filmmaker Ken Burns are traveling the country together discussing race.

“American Fault Line: Race and the American Ideal” finds the pair in Brooklyn tonight along with NPR’s Michel Martin to “discuss race – the prevailing political fault line in the US – its significance in their understanding of America, its importance in their work and how, as a nation, we deal with it today,” according to PBS.
