Janelle Monae As White Man

*Janelle Monae used a Snapchat App to morph her face into that of a white man in order to express her disappointment about GOP frontrunner Donald Trump winning Georgia by a landslide on Super Tuesday.

In a video she posted on Instagram, Monae donned whiteface makeup, a goatee and glasses to impersonate a white man. In the caption, she wrote: “As a white man I’m upset that Georgia made frump the winner of Georgia.”

Meanwhile, as Trump continues to win over the hearts of racist Americans, he has yet to discuss his plans for the nation as president… well, except for wanting to build up a wall that keeps out Muslims, Mexicans, refugees and maybe all women (he has said some demeaning things about women). Trump has won GOP primaries in seven states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia, according to Edison Media Research.

In related news, a benefit held Sunday night for residents affected by lead-contaminated water in Flint raised nearly $156,000. Blackout for Human Right’s #JusticeForFlint said about 2,000 people attended the event, along with filmmaker and founding Blackout member Ryan Coogler (“Creed”), director Ava DuVernay, singer Ledisi, and Janelle Monae. Mashable says the singer “brought everyone to their feet, transforming the event into a full-fledged concert.” She also made a short speech after a few songs, saying Governor Rick Snyder “needs to be ashamed of himself.”

Democratic leader Tim Greimel has called on Gov. Snyder to resign, saying the Ann Arbor Republican showed “negligence and indifference” in his handling of the Flint water crisis.

“This is not right,” Janelle declared during the benefit concert, which had more than 4,000 people send in online donations to aid efforts to provide Flynt residents with access to clean water.
