*Lamar Odom may be back to normal after his life threatening ordeal following a visit to a Nevada brothel, but the former NBA star looks to be putting himself back at at risk again. There’s even an effort to get him into rehab. More on that below.
In the meantime, according to TMZ Sports,Odom was caught drinking at Johnny O’Brien pub, an Irish bar in in Sherman Oaks, CA, early Easter Sunday morning. Odom’s drink run took place hours before Odom went to church with Khloe Kardashian and her family.
Chatting with multiple pub staffers and patrons at the bar, TMZ notes that us Odom arrived at Johnny O’Brien with two unidentified male friends just before midnight on Saturday and stayed until around 1 a.m. on Sunday. The staffers went on to confirm that Odom paid for three Remy Martin drinks he ordered.
Hours after spending time at the bar, Odom was Odom was spotted at church with the Kardashians. wearing the same sweatshirt, shades and chain he had on the previous night and holding a Starbucks coffee cup.
In light of Odom’s history of substance abuse and his overdose on cocaine and sexual enhancement pills back in October, this latest situation is cause for concern. Especially considering the multiple strokes and organ damage he suffered from because of the overdose.
Naturally, in light of all of the above going down, we hear Khloe and Odom’s own family members have been trying unsuccessfully to get him into rehab.
Sources close to Lamar and Khloe say she’s doing everything she can to convince him to get treatment for addiction. A TMZ report says happy to go to physical rehab, but refuses to deal with his drug demons.
Khloe’s even suggested an outpatient program, but Odom remains defiant.
Odom’s own family members are also striking out. According to our sources, they’ve tried to convince him by pointing out several relatives, including his father, have addiction issues.
And it will come as no surprise that Khloe’s telling friends and family there will come a point when “she has to stop trying” to save Lamar.
