Donald Trump

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump addresses the crowd during a campaign rally at Lenoir-Rhyne University March 14, 2016 in Hickory, North Carolina. The North Carolina Republican primary will be held March 15.

*A new anti-Donald Trump ad shows women reading off his disparaging comments about other women.

The Republican group behind the ad is planning to spend $500,000 on the spot, which will begin running on cable, including on CNN, starting Monday. Their goal is to block the GOP presidential front-runner from the nomination.

Trump has been accused of sexism and misogyny throughout the campaign, as evident by the ad.

“Bimbo,” reads one woman.

“Dog,” reads another.

“Fat pig,” reads a third woman, as the ad, “Real quotes from Donald Trump about women,” is introduced.

A person who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a ten,” a woman says.

“Women,” another woman says. “You have to treat them like shit.”

When Fox debate moderator Megyn Kelly asked him in a debate about his past disparaging comments about women, he dismissed her by saying she had blood “coming out of her wherever.”

Trump has countered the criticism by saying he “cherishes” women and noting that he supports women’s health services through Planned Parenthood — but not abortions.

“I’m the exact opposite. I cherish women. I want to help women. I’m going to do things for women that no other candidate will be able to do. And it’s very important to me,” Trump told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” last August.

“This,” says one middle-aged actress, after 45 seconds of the quotations, “is how Donald Trump talks about our mothers.” Another middle-aged woman adds: “Our sisters.” A much younger woman adds: “Our daughters.” Finally, a female narrator asks viewers who believe America deserves better to “vote against Donald Trump.”

The overall message of the ad is: Mr. Trump is a misogynist.
