*Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker is “fighting for his life,” according to his agent, after a serious motorbike crash Thursday evening just north of Miami, reports The Baltimore Sun.

“It’s a bad situation,” said Ronald Butler, Walker’s agent. “I’m going to be honest. We’re praying that he’s able to fight through it.”

The 23-year-old fourth-round pick last year out of Texas Southern was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, police said. Butler said Walker is in intensive care after spending the night in surgery.

“He has some head injuries,” Butler said. “He’s fighting for his life right now. That’s really the most I can say.”

Upon learning of the news, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said in a statement Thursday night, “Oh my God, this is devastating news. Our prayers and hopes are with Tray and his family tonight.”

Shalonda Martin, Walker’s sister, told the Miami CBS station that “we’re praying. We ask everyone else to pray, make sure he gets out of surgery.”

Per ESPN.com:

Walker, 23, was heading westbound on Northwest 75th Street on a Honda dirt bike when he collided with a Ford Escape heading southbound on Northwest 21st Avenue, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. The accident occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m., and police said Walker’s bike did not have lights and that he was wearing dark clothing.

Police said the driver of the Ford Escape stayed on the scene and was cooperating with detectives. Walker was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial in critical condition, according to police.

Walker was a fourth-round pick of the Ravens in 2015. He played only eight snaps on defense as a rookie, making one tackle.

Walker had dedicated his rookie season to his father, who died of a heart attack in 2014. The family spread his ashes off the waters in Miami on his father’s birthday, which was one day after the Ravens drafted Walker.
