*Oscar night on Sunday (Feb. 28) proved to be a happy time for Tamera Mowry-Housley, who also took time out to deal with hatters on social media.
The night started out great as “The Real” co-host took to Instagram to display pictures she took of the electric blue Gucci gown and Kimberly McDonald fine jewelry she rocked while attending various Oscar parties. From there, things took a negative turn as folks put their little two cents in on Mowry-Housley’s Instagram timeline with questions on whether or not the former “Sister Sister” star is pregnant as well as comments of her possibly gaining weight gain.
Needless to say, Mowry-Housley wasn’t in good spirits over the remarks as she responded directly to the body shamers, suggesting that she “doesn’t look fat” while voicing that, “I do not expect to look like I did pre 2nd baby right now.”
“I have chosen to be a present mom enjoying my work and life right now,” the 37-year-old mother of two stated. “However, people are so insensitive and accustomed to what celebrities should look like at all times.”
Hammering her point in more, Mowry-Housely added that she is “one of those average moms who loses my baby weight in a healthy natural matter. I refuse to live according to your weight standards that you don’t even go by yourself.”
