*With the release of his 4th studio album, “Views,” it seems the right things are happening for Drake.

He even celebrated he launch of the new project with a party in his hometown of Toronto Friday night.

And know this. Drizzy says the album, which debuted on iTunes Thursday night, has already brought in some very impressive numbers from … get this … the first night!

“I got a text message that we sold like 630,000 something records in one night,” he announced to the hometown crowd. “That’s the first time I’ve ever done that shit.”

“Viiews” also features Rihanna, Future, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Until next Thursday, it can only be found on iTunes. Then it will be available on other digital platforms as well.

BTW, Justin Bieber, another superstar from Canada, was also on hand to celebrate with Drake. The Biebs – with a new do – showed his support for “View” via his review of the album on Instagram.

“Spending the day listening to #views,” he wrote. “congrats drake you did it again…if you haven’t got it yet go download #views”

At the party, Drake returned the love.

“Make some noise for Bieber one time. That’s my guy,” he told the crowd before embracing the “Sorry” singer.

Being the fun guy that he is, Bieber also used Drake’s “Views” meme generator to edit one of his own selfies. In that pic, a tiny Drizzy is seen sitting on the Biebs’ shoulder (see it below).

And just in case you may be wondering about Drake’s other job as Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador, he took care of business for the team, too. On Friday (04-29-16), the so-called “6 God” made an appearance at Jurassic Park to perform a portion of “Energy” to pump the crowd up for the Raptors’ playoff game against the Indiana Pacers, and to celebrate Toronto.

“I love everybody in this city,” he said. “I love this city. I’ll die for this city.”

Unfortunately the Raptors didn’t show up shall we say and ended up losing game 6 to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. The winner of game 7, scheduled for tomorrow, will move on to the next round.
