Dwight, Royce*The 8-year war between Dwight Howard and his reality star ex, Royce Reed, is finally over … TMZ Sports has learned the bitter battle between the two has come to an end, and family members are responsible for encouraging them to end the bitter battle, reunite,  and act civil toward each other.

Family members tell the celebrity entertainment site that they encouraged the former lovers to come together and hash out a truce for the sake of their 8-year-old son. Dwight and Royce agreed and have vowed to end the fighting — instead focusing on co-parenting.

As one source put it, “They decided to stop hating each other and made a promise to their son they would get along.”

The couple have been hanging out a lot lately, and Royce posted a pic of the 3 out at a recent NBA game. So far, everything is peaceful.

Jeff finally filed divorce docs earlier this month in L.A. Superior Court. He and Tyler have been separated since January 2015. They married in 1994 after being college sweethearts. Aisha has opened up over the years about her struggle to conceive – becoming quite emotional at times when describing she and Jeff’s inability to have a child, but it’s unclear if that played a role in the breakup. He cited irreconcilable differences.

Aisha’s rep, Lisa Morbete, tells TMZ although their marriage is ending, their friendship will continue.

Jeff isn’t asking for spousal support now, but indicated in the docs he’s reserving the right to do so later.
