*According to Page Six, LL Cool J was the main attraction during intermission at Wednesday night’s performance of “Hamilton” at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The “NCIS: Los Angeles” actor happily posed for pics and obliged a number of female fans who approached him.

Later that night, LL gushed over the musical on Instagram, writing, “Hamilton was dope tonight. Pure Art.. who ever thought that hiphop would take it this far.”

In related news, Cool J donated to White Plains native Chris Latimer’s Kickstarter page to bring back African American College Alliance (AACA) designs.

According to reports, Latimer is the brainchild behind an apparel brand celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), which is in production after exceeding its $100,000 Kickstarter campaign goal. Latimer received pledges from 734 backers totaling $108, 273.

“‘I was really blown away because $60,000 of our goal came in the last six days,” he says.

And the endless discussion about blacks being shunned in Hollywood continues. This time with Gabrielle Union slamming the industry because Blacks aren’t given the same love as their white counterparts. According to the Being Mary Jane star:

“Half the time, [African-Americans] don’t even get the opportunity to fail… At least let me audition, so you can say I just wasn’t good enough,” she tells Ocean Drive magazine. “Most times, Black actors can’t even get in the door.”

She continues, “It’s still grossly unequal — and that goes for the Latino, Asian, Middle Eastern and LGBT communities… We have a long, long way to go.”
