Mariah Carey Says She’s More ‘Successful’ Since Dumping Staff

Mariah Carey *Mariah Carey says she’s much “more financially successful and organized” now that she has fired most of her staff, and she couldn’t be happier about the changes. Despite previous reports, Carey tells TMZ that her staff didn’t walk out on her, she pulled the trigger once she realized they didn’t have her best interests at heart.

“I dismissed a majority of my team because I discovered that they didn’t have my best interests at heart. My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov are the top of the line in the entertainment business and more importantly in my life and I am now much more financially successful and more organized than in the past.”

Sources say that the team who allegedly walked out on Mariah were “loyal people who have been around for years, some 20.” Their decision to quit was due to Carey’s insistence on having every little detail approved by her first, instead of her handlers. The clashing with Mariah’s longtime manager and confidante, Bulochnikov, also reached its limit.

According to reports, Mariah’s business manager Michael Kane, publicist Connie Filippello, domestic publicist Chris Chambers, tour manager Michael Richardson, travel manager Gaylin Winkler and stylist Wilfredo Rosado, who designed her engagement ring, all quit on the spot.

One of MiMi’s reps says they now have a dedicated team who understands that their waking move must be devoted to serving the singer’s interests. So far, the new system is to Carey’s satisfaction. Her crew is supporting her efforts while touring Europe, and as she films a music documentary.

While in Sweden, the hitmaker posed up with her creative director Anthony Burrell – flaunting her tight bum as she hugged him. Mariah shared the moment in an IG photo, along with the caption:  “Hey Sweden glad to be back to see u.” (see it below.)

Carey has been touring all over Europe promoting her latest album “#1 To Infinity.” Earlier this month, she had to cancel her Brussels show due to safety concerns following the recent terror attacks.

“I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my shows for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour,” Carey wrote on her Instagram page. “I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs.”
