Monica Addresses Shannon Cheating Rumors; Rihanna’s Make Up Line

Some would say it’s a classy way of addressing the situation. Others would say she’s just not going off publicly.

rihannaAs Monica voices her thoughts on social media, Rihanna is at work making business moves with her upcoming makeup collection, “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.”

According to Women’s Wear Daily/ WWD, the line, a product of Rihanna’s collaboration with the Kendo division of LVMH, is set to arrive in the Fall of 2017 and be retailed by LVMH’s Sephora perfumery chain and other outposts. Estimates point to LVMH paying as much as $10 million to make the deal happen with Rihanna.

Despite revealing no other specifics, the alliance with Rihanna was enough cause for celebration for Kendo chief executive officer David Suliteanu.

“Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” he said. “We are aiming for the stars.”

“Kendo is honored to work with Rihanna,” Suliteanu concluded.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna marks the singer’s latest foray into the world of fashion. In 2013, Rihanna aligned with MAC Cosmetics on a four-part, limited-edition RiRi Hearts MAC color cosmetics collection. She followed that up a year later with representing Viva Glam lipstick to raise money for AIDS research.

Rihanna’s history with fragrances includes seven for Parlux Ltd as well as success in the U.S. and internationally in the United Kingdom and Europe. The pair’s latest fragrance, RiRi, launched in fall 2015 and raised $46,000 in an afternoon during a promotional appearance at Macy’s in Brooklyn.

WWD referenced industry sources that estimate that Rihanna’s Parlux fragrances, as a group, generate about $75 million in wholesale net shipments.
