Bossip reports a grand jury “deliberated for about a month before handing down the decision April 4.”
The indictment comes months after Maraj was charged in December 2015 for felony predatory sexual assault against a child, along with felony sexual conduct against a child under age 13, sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
The 37-year-old was reportedly bailed out by his mother for $100,000. If convicted, Maraj faces 15 years to life in prison.
At this time, Minaj has not commented publicly on her brother’s legal situation.
