*In the latest chapter of Phaedra Parks’ legal troubles, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star will be back in court to defend herself against claims she ran a ‘criminal enterprise’ with her husband, Apollo Nida.

Parks’ appearance comes as her defamation lawsuit against author Angela Stanton heads to trial after four years. According to Radar Online, Park’s lawsuit goes back to 2012 when Stanton claimed in her book, Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell The Truth & Shame The Devil, that Parks oversaw a “criminal enterprise” alongside Nida.

Court documents provide further details, stating the couple used fake bank accounts, bad checks, stolen cars to maintain their “enterprise.” Adding to Stanton’s claims are allegations that Parks had a secret “girlfriend,” was into “freaky” sex, among other things.

Parks fired back against Stanton with her defamation lawsuit, which caused Stanton to respond with her own counterclaims. Despite her efforts to get the counterclaims dismissed, the judge denied Parks. The most recent denial occurred on March 12, 2016.

As it stands now, a hearing for a potential summary judgment is set to take place on Wednesday (April 20). If the judge denies the judgment again, the case will go to trial on Thursday morning (April 21) at 9:30 a.m. in Georgia.

Nida is currently behind bars, serving an eight-year prison sentence.
