*Fat Joe has revealed a long-standing mystery in hip hop.

On the track “I Got a Story to Tell” from Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 posthumous album “Life After Death,” the story Biggie told was about sleeping with a girl who was dating a New York Knicks player.

During an appearance on ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” with Dan Le Batard Monday, Fat Joe revealed that the Knick in question was the late Anthony Mason, who died last February at age 48.

“I could tell you but I don’t want to be disrespectful… But um… It was about Anthony Mason, Rest In Peace,” Fat Joe said while talking to LeBatard and co-host Bomani Jones.

Le Batard had been looking for an answer to this question for some time. He had John Starks on his show in 2014 and while Starks said he knew who the song referenced, he wouldn’t give up his former teammate.

After realizing the mystery was solved, Le Batard and Jones were left stunned – and thankful.

“I feel like I’m WikiLeaks or something,” Joe laughed.
