*Tidal signed up 1.2 million new users during the first week Beyoncé’s new album “Lemonade” was available on the streaming service, The New York Times reports. Tidal remains the only place to legally stream the album, though it is available to download elsewhere, and is also on sale in physical versions.

According to data the service provided to the Times, songs from “Lemonade” have been streamed 306 million times worldwide. Of those, roughly 75% were U.S. streams. Tidal also counts 11 million streams of the album’s accompanying film, which premiered on HBO. Beyoncé’s husband, Jay Z, bought Tidal last year, and she is a partner in the business.
