*Carmen Electra, a one-time member of Prince’s protégé circle, said she, along with the rest of the world, was blindsided by his death on April 21.
“I was very confused when I heard,” she told “Access Hollywood” at Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass” Hollywood premiere. “It just happened out of nowhere.”
“I just hope that people understand what pain is – because obviously he had major physical pain – and will respect that about him and not look at him in a different way because of how things happened,” she said.
Asked her favorite memory of Prince, Carmen spoke about his “great sense of humor” and recalled meeting the superstar shortly after her arrival in LA from Cincinnati.
