*Cyndi Lauper honored Prince during her concert at New York’s Beacon Theater Wednesday with her rendition of “When You Were Mine,” the track from his 1980 album “Dirty Mind” that she covered on her 1983 album debut, “She’s So Unusual.”
Lauper is currently touring behind her new album of country covers, “Detour.” Her Wednesday show was a co-headline with Boy George and included a stand-up performance by Rosie O’Donnell, who joined the duo for an encore performance of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”
