*Hey, if you’re reading this, you actually woke up this morning! Congratulations. But did you have to set one of those annoying alarm clocks? Think you’d feel better if you woke up, instead, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson barking orders at you…Military style? If your answer is yes

There’s an app that does exactly that.

Johnson wants you to wake up with a goal in mind. And he’s willing to help make this happen. Yesterday he released a sort of motivational alarm clock — he calls it “The Rock Clock.” And not only does the preset “suggestions” include things such as “gain five pounds of muscle,” “learn a new language” or “eat more green stuff,” Johnson also plays guitar and sings for you.

“Yes, that’s me really singing and playing guitar to wake your ass up,” Johnson shared on Instagram yesterday when he announced the app’s launch.

But if all of this is going to take you more traditional types a moment to adjust to, The Rock does a little “beep, beep” thing that sounds more like what you may be accustomed to.

Once the app is downloaded (available for iPhone via iTunes or for Android via Google Play), users are prompted to set a goal (such as the aforementioned “gain five pounds of muscle,” etc.

Johnson says he will even track your goals and you, in turn, will get to track his.

“I’ll be shouting you guys out personally via video messages on this app, so let’s chase our greatness, get after it and as always have some fun along the way,” Johnson wrote in his Instagram announcement.

You can also put the app on “Rock Time,” which syncs you with Johnson’s schedule. (But be warned: he wakes up at 4:45 a.m.).
