*Draya Michele found a rather intimate way to wish folks a Happy Mother’s Day on Instagram.
The reality star, who gave birth to baby Jru a month ago, posted video footage from the delivery room on Sunday.
“I had a silent delivery because I didn’t want to stress my baby and when I pulled him from my body I’ve never felt so important,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve made mistakes and had some growing to do and this little guy came at the right time.”

Happy Mother’s Day to the women out there. We are created to recreate and that is the biggest gift of all from God. I had a silent delivery because I didn’t want to stress my baby and when I pulled him from my body I’ve never felt so important. I’ve made mistakes and had some growing to do and this little guy came at the right time. Orlando, thank you for Jru, Tatiana and Taylor, and loving Kniko unconditionally. Yesenia, bestie, godmother, sister….I couldn’t have done this without you and Orlando by my side. Thanks to my Dr. And a special #happymothersday to Shonna my nurse. I’m strong. #reachoutandbringlifeintotheworld Jru is a month today, and what a special day it is. ❤️ sorry if this offends anyone. I’ll be removing it shortly.
The “Basketball Wives” star and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick welcomed Jru on April 8 in Burbank, Calif. He weighed 6.5 lbs., and measured 20 inches long.
Jru is their first child together. He has twin daughters, Taylor and Tatiana, from another relationship. She has a 13-year-old son, Kniko, from a previous relationship.
“We are super excited to add our sixth member to the family,” Michele told People at the time. “He’s such a good, healthy baby and everyone is already infatuated with him. His brother and sisters are in love.”
