Ok, Ok, before you believe that, know we’re just straight up talking ish about Mr. Eddie Murphy.
Actually today Murphy became a father for the 9th time as his girlfriend of four years, Paige Butcher, gave birth to their first child together: a baby girl named … are you ready? Izzy Oona Murphy.
Wait a minute. Izzy Oona Murphy? Yep, Izzy Oona Murphy. Sounds like a name from one his comedy routines. Oh well, a few years from now when Miss Izzy is getting ragged on by the other kids, she can always find comfort in knowing that her name is unique and that her daddy is rich (and so is she).

In any event, here’s the announcement via Extra:
In a statement to “Extra,” his rep confirmed, “Eddie Murphy, 55, and long-time girlfriend Paige Butcher, 36, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Izzy Oona Murphy, this morning. The baby weighed 7 lbs., 15oz. and was 19-1/2 inches at birth. Both mother and daughter are doing well. This is the ninth child for Murphy, the first for Butcher.”
That means with his ninth child, Eddie is solidly on the list of celebrities with the most children. He’s is now tied with Stevie Wonder, who welcomed his ninth last year.
