*EUR was on the scene at the Regency Theater in Los Angeles for the advanced screening and exclusive red carpet for the hugely successful online game that became “The Angry Birds Movie.”
In the 3D animated comedy we will finally find out why the birds are so … angry! And we also find out what the invited guests that attended the red carpet are up to.
The movie takes us to an island populated almost entirely by happy, flightless birds.

In this paradise, Red – played by Jason Sudeikis (“We’re the Millers,” “Horrible Bosses”) is a bird with a temper problem. There’s also Speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since “Frozen”) and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride: “This is the End,” “Eastbound and Down”) who have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.
EUR associate Herica Thompson was present to speak with the star of the movie Josh Gad (“The Wedding Ringer”), who talked about his role in “The Angry Birds Movie” and filming again with Kevin Hart, plus Shad Moss (Bow Wow) who talked about his role on CSI Cyber (which, unfortunately, was just cancelled) and a secret talk show he’s working on among others.
