*Former “American Idol” finalist Rickey Smith was killed Thursday night in a multi-car highway accident in Oklahoma, reports TMZ. He was 36.
According to reports, Smith was traveling on I-240 just outside Oklahoma City when he was hit head on by another man driving the wrong way on the interstate. Cops say the other driver was hospitalized and booked for DUI.
Smith finished in eighth place during “Idol’s” second season, which crowned Ruben Studdard.
