Man Who Claims He Owns Entire Prince Catalog Challenged by Estate

*Bremer Trust bank, the newly-confirmed administrator of Prince’s estate, has responded to a claim from a man who swears he acquired all rights to the late singer’s music in a billion dollar bet, according to TMZ.

Rodney Dixon filed court documents last week claiming he won the rights to every single Prince song in a wager the two had over whether Prince was the Messiah.

Per TMZ:

In the docs, the bank says Dixon’s claim is “frivolous,” and he would need to have a written agreement to transfer ownership of Prince’s catalog. Dixon admits all he has is a “verbal and implied agreement.”

That doesn’t cut it for the estate … which wants the court to toss the claim.
