*Mariah Carey was the lone guest on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” Tuesday night, and Andy Cohen covered much territory.
He brought up the time when Mariah said of Jennifer Lopez, “I don’t know her.” Cohen says J.Lo subsequently told him that Carey does know her.
“Apparently, I’m forgetful,” Mariah responded. “If I had never had a conversation with you, and someone asked me about you, I’d be like, ‘I don’t know him, but he seems cool’, or, ‘I don’t know him’,” she said.
Asked if Jennifer “seems cool,” Mariah answered, “I don’t know her. What am I supposed to say? I’m not gonna put on a thing like, ‘We’re all Hollywood. Let’s pretend we’re all best friends because we’re in that land.’ It’s no offense to anybody.”

During a game of “Plead the Fifth,” Andy asked Mariah to name three nice things about her former “American Idol” co-judge Nicki Minaj.
*crickets*
Andy sought confirmation on reports that Mariah is working on a project with Beyoncé. After praising Bey, she said, “Are we collaborating? I don’t know. We have never talked about it. I would love to do a collaboration with her.”
After the show, Mariah talked about why that last note of “We Belong Together” was so long, the influence of Prince on her music and life, what she thinks of Madonna and whether or not she’ll ever slow down.
