Gentle, New X-Men Vol. 2

*The buzz has been traveling from the overseas box office numbers for Marvel/Disney’s soon-to-be opening box office summer hit, “Captain America: Civil War” releasing nationwide today!

It’s an exciting film release as not only does it display the Avengers fighting against each other–a story reminiscent of America’s own past during the Civil War era–but more importantly, the diversity of the super hero cast: Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, and Don Cheadle as War Machine.

In Civil War, audiences get the chance to get a great introduction into the Black Panther character who is slated to get his own film directed by Ryan Coogler in 2018. Let’s take a look below at a full scope of Marvel’s Black superhero repertoire who may also get their own storylines portrayed on the big screen in the years to come.
