*Prominent pastors Orrick Quick and Jamal Bryant are headed to daytime television.

The pair teams with two more men of the cloth for “The Preachers,” a new daytime talk show executive produced by former “The View” co-creator and EP Bill Geddie.

The show will get a three-week daily preview on Fox-owned TV stations in New York and Los Angeles beginning July 11, according to Deadline.com. Additional select stations and markets will be announced.

Per Deadline:

Produced by Telepictures Productions, “The Preachers” features four outspoken preachers known for their unique takes on pop culture, news events and spirituality. The series will be hosted by John Gray, a gifted musician and associate pastor at Lakewood Church in Houston; Dr. E. Dewey Smith Jr., senior pastor/teacher at The House of Hope Atlanta and The House of Hope Macon, GA; Orrick Quick, pastor and founder of God Seekers Church in High Point, NC; and Dr. Jamal Bryant, pastor and founder of Empowerment Temple AME Church in Baltimore.

The Preachers follows other Warner Bros. daytime talk shows that went onto national syndication after successful summer test runs on Fox stations, including The Real and Bethenny.

“After The View, I figured I’d never do another panel show, but these preachers knocked me off my feet,” said Geddie. “They’re not just another set of talking heads yakking about the events of the day; they bring real-world experience as pastors and counselors. They have a unique spiritual take on things, and they’re funny as hell…I mean, heck!”
