Choice Challenge – A Free youth only educational workshop for ages 13 – 17 MIAMI, FL- April 27, 2016- Florida Senator Oscar Braynon II presents the 4 th

Annual Choice Challenge on Saturday May 7 th , 2016, 9am-3:30pm, a free youth only event aimed to equip middle and high school students with the knowledge and tools to make conscious decisions about their future. Choice.

Challenge 2016 will be a day full of educational workshops that focus on careers, life choices, character development, and teen self-empowerment.

Event will be held at FIU’s Kovens Center (3000 Northeast 151st Street, North Miami, FL 33181) and is FREE and open to youth ages 13 to 17.

The focal point of the Choice Challenge agenda is a mandatory workshop which highlights real life consequences of drugs, gangs, and violence.

Choice Challenge is in partnership with the Moss Foundation and NFL player Santana Moss. Celebrities and community leaders spend the day with the youth talking honestly about their real life experiences and the choices that led to their successes and failures.

About Senator Braynon:

Oscar Braynon, II was elected to the Florida Senate to represent Senate District 36 in March of 2011. District 36 encompasses the majority of Northeast Miami-Dade County and parts of Southern Broward County. Prior to being elected in his current position, Senator Braynon served as the State Representative for District 103.
