*T.D. Jakes is ready to put his annointing on daytime television.
After a successful test run last summer, the Dallas pastor will premiere his self-titled syndicated talk show in more than 50 U.S. markets on September 12, Tegna Media announced Tuesday.
According to Deadline.com, “T.D. Jakes” is cleared in more than 40 percent of the country.
The show is filmed before a live studio audience in Los Angeles and will feature the pastor tackling “socially relevant topics in the news” as well as personal stories and honest conversations with celebrity and non-celebrity guests. It will air weekdays in afternoon time periods on 30 Tegna stations in the U.S. along with other markets including Chicago, Orlando, Detroit and San Diego.
