*During Tyler Perry’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” Tuesday, host Jimmy Fallon let the audience decide which story they wanted to hear from him – an anecdote about President Obama, a story about an awards show or a memory of Prince.

The filmmaker recalled the time he attended an intimate Prince show at New York’s Roosevelt hotel in which the singer pulled him on stage to sing “Play That Funky Music.”
