*On Monday’s episode of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” singer Michelle Branch was brought on to perform her 2000 hit “Goodbye to You”… remixed slightly to serve as a swan song for former GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
As Branch sang and played guitar, a video montage of Cruz’s greatest hits played behind her, from the now-classic clip of his daughter recoiling from his attempt to kiss her cheek, to that time he had a mysterious foreign substance stuck to his lip during one of the debates.
Of course, the montage wouldn’t be complete without video of him ignoring Carly Fiorina fall right in front of him…and accidentally elbowing his wife in the face.
