*ABC News released a clip from its upcoming “20/20” interview with Bobby Brown, where the singer breaks down over the tragic deaths of his ex-wife Whitney Houston and their daughter Bobbi Kristina.
“The hardest thing I had to do in my life was tell my daughter to let go,” Brown reveals to Robin Roberts in a tearful preview. The episode is scheduled to air on Tuesday, June 7 at 10 p.m.
The episode is billed as one of the first in-depth interviews with Brown since the passing of Bobbi Kristina nearly a year ago and Houston in 2012. Both deaths were eerily similar, as they were both found unresponsive in bathtubs due to drug related health complications.
Brown discusses the losses, his marriage with Houston and how her addiction affected their union, among other personal reveals. His memoir Every Little Step: My Story will also be released this summer.
