Bobby Brown Wants to Reconcile with In-laws – BET Shades Beyoncé

*Bobby Brown sat down with Larry King on the multi-Emmy nominated series “Larry King Now” and revealed that he would like to have a relationship with his former in-laws. Brown appeared on the show to respond to Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy for calling his recent conversation with Robin Roberts “disturbing.”

Brown said, “I think Ms. Houston is going through the same thing I’m going through.” Bobby also tells King that he’d like meet with Houston’s family, and admitted that he “reached out several times before, but there’s no love lost from me. I respect and love that whole family and I’d hope that they know that. But my life has to go on and I’d like to stay well.”

After the 47-year-old singer opened up to Robin Roberts on 20/20 about the deaths of his ex-wife and their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Cissy Houston, issued the following statement:

“Although the interview was supposed to promote HIS autobiography [“Every Little Step: My Story”], he never spoke about his parents and siblings and any issues they might have or have had that impacted and may continue to impact on Every Little Step he takes,” Houston said in a statement to People. “Instead he chose to concentrate his comments primarily on Whitney. I can’t help but wonder why.”

Meanwhile, with a week to go before the BET Awards Weekend kicks off, the network sent out a tweet that has angered the BeyHive – by suggesting in a article that Rihanna’s latest effort, “Anti,” is superior to Beyonce’s “Lemonade.”

Pitting the BeyHive against Rihanna’s Navy wasn’t the wisest move, and fans of both artists sounded off on social media.

BET tried to save face, deleted the tweet and renamed the article “We Take Beyoncé For Granted”. Unfortunately, it was too late.
