*Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle added another felony charge Tuesday related to his collection – this one for an alleged threat he made while being detained in a Kansas jail.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Randle’s new charge stems from allegations of a threat he made May 14 while at the Sedgwick County Jail awaiting dates on two other felony cases:

The deputy was in one of the jail’s detention pods shortly after 8 p.m. on May 14 “enforcing the rules” when Randle allegedly “threatened the deputy for doing so,” sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Lin Dehning said in an e-mail. Specific details of the threat have not been released.

The agency turned the investigation over to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution. The district attorney decided to charge Randle with one count of criminal threat, which carries a presumptive sentence of five to 17 months in prison.

Randle, who is from Wichita, was released by the Cowboys in the middle of the 2015 season.

At one point he managed to get arrested six times in an 18-month span. He spent more than a week in jail in February after an arrest on charges of aggravated battery, criminal damage and possession of marijuana.

Police said Randle struck three people with his car on Feb. 21 after getting into an argument at a housewarming party in southeast Wichita. Also in February, Randle was arrested in Irving on a speeding charge. Police said he was wanted on a charge of speeding in a school zone in Coppell.

Randle’s most famous arrest was in October 2014, on charges of shoplifting cologne and underwear from the Dillard’s at Stonebriar Mall.
