Janet Jackson Video Honors Orlando Massacre Victims (WATCH)

*We’ve already reported that Adele, Lady Gaga and others have paid tribute to the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub that killed 49 people and wounded 53 others. Now word comes that Janet Jackson has shared a video honoring victims of the tragedy.

To make a political point, the video – set to “Shoulda Known Better,” off of Jackson’s 2015 album Unbreakable – begins with footage of two mothers speaking with news outlets about the shooting and ends with President Obama discussing gun control during a PBS NewsHour segment. He shares how Americans who are known to visit ISIS-related websites can be placed on the No Fly List but can’t be barred from purchasing weapons in the country.

“Part of the revolution/ Ready for real solutions/ We won’t accept excuses/ We tolerate no abuses,” Jackson sings on the emotional song. In the tweet she used to share the video, Jackson wrote, “You’ll never be forgotten. #WeAreOrlando #Unbreakable.”

Lamont Hicks, a super fan of Janet, initially posted the video on Monday, before Jackson herself shared it via Twitter with the caption “You’ll never be forgotten. #WeAreOrlando #Unbreakable.”
